Oppose: We haven't really figured out how to dispose of the waste so it won't kill our great great grandchildren yet.

To all who say they favor it, ask yourself this... Do you want the waste burried next door to you?
Nuclear power how never been well planned for the future. Sure it is cheap energy now but it make waste that can be deadly and there is no viable way to get rid of the vast amount of waste it will generate so future generations will have to suffer.

oppose, I don't see an intelligent reason to favor another nuclear power plant. They are obsolete, dangerous, and inefficient. But the government isn't big on intelligence, So lets just hope they bury the radioactive waste near those who support the idea.

Oppose! too many other cheaper and safer ways to get power!!!!
hmmm, if there was a safe was to dispose of charged radioactive waste it's a well hidden secret! The government's way of disposal is to bury it deep enough that it's poison won't be noticable for a generation or so.... throttle, is there a website or something that explains this technology?

Don't buy into the argument that the wastes can't be disposed. There is a technology to do so. What is missing is the political will.

I don't think anyone wants it in their backyard. We have no place to store the dangerous waste and is probably shipped by train or truck secretely, as most people object to it coming through their area. I am not for it. I think we should find a way to use our vast coal deposits.

It seems good to me if we can have an alternative fuel that we should go for it.

First, the government needs to find a space to store spent nuclear fuel for the next ten million years.

Probably should push for more nuclear power plants, as long as they can maintain their safe operation.
