More than twenty. I used to drive truck for the Army, then drove for Schwan's, and now I'm a Directv installer, so I've covered some serious miles in multiple vehicles.

Poll Doesn't make sence to me. In a lifetime more than 100,000 Miles 4 or 5 CARS or trucks(Road Vehicles).I easily put 1000 miles/year on a second or third back-up Road vehicle. I have driven 4 or 5 lawn tractors more than 1,000 miles per yeAR based on 5 MPH x 200 engine hours on the engine Hourmeter (oil change interval). I Check speed of mower periodically with GPS

I've owned at least 19 cars that I can think of. I have driven at least 4 rentals that far, plus an International truck, and at least two government cars. I have also flown an airplane that far. Does that count?

How hard is it to read the question and respond? It's not easy to come up with a different automotive/gas related question every week for years. But this question seems to beg others. How many vehicles have you driven 100,000 miles or more? Have you ever driven 1000 miles in a day? Or what is the furthest you have driven in one day, 500mi, 750mi, 1000mi, or more? Or how many vehicles have you owned?

I've been driving for 43 years, I've had so many cars I lost track. Everyone of them I drove till they could go no further. not one did I put less then 1000 miles on it.

It really isn't necessary to change the value to 10,000 or 100,000, since it clearly says 1000 (twice). It's asking how many vehicles the respondent has "really" driven, lifetime. The kilometric equivalent is irrelevant; 1000 was just a random figure to keep out that friend's car you borrowed once, the test drive you didn't buy, etc. Something you drove long enough to feel.
I did think the ranges should have been wider, since it's a lifetime total question. I suggested that but it didn't carry.
As always, anyone who wants input on the upcoming polls need only visit the forum. This wasn't one of the clearer proposals but more heads available to scan them over is always a help.
