Hi rwm1, Is that corn in your picture? Here in Arizona we like E-10 because it reduces the amount of poisonous carbon monoxide (CO) produced by all internal combustion gasoline engines. We get temp. inversions and the CO stays near the ground, where I breath. E-15 provides no increased health benefits and it damages fuel systems. Would you care to become buddies?? Warren

The glut of oil is not going to make the price go down. The glut of oil only exists because oil prices are as high as they are, That permits enhanced recovery techniques to be used. If the price of oil goes down, the oil companies are not idiots. The crude will stay in the ground until prices increase to the point where the enhanced recovery techniques are viable again.

Sure, glad to have you. It's so hard to find positive thinkers here.

Fools gold for sure.

Thanks for the thoughtful response; they're uncommon on parts of this website. I can't take credit for the Maytag info though-that was another fellow. In the meantime, here's food for thought: “Opinions are made to be changed -- or how is truth to be got at?” -Lord Byron (1788-1824)

Consider updating your knowledge of the updated Energy Star program; it's been overhauled recently.

Thanks for the response.

I hoped it did not seem like "Running out of news?" The 1939 was a reference date to Norman Bel Geddes book. Otherwise the car accident statistic are recent. Some of us believe back in 1939 was real journalism compared to the "infotainment" of today.
