ah, i see there's a limit on length, with no warning about truncation, so i'll retype the last thing that got cut off.
i can't take anyone seriously who insists that the large number of quakes suddenly registered in areas which previously had none is unrelated to the fracking industry. and yes, i'm familiar with the school of thought that it's not the fracking itself that causes them, but rather the wastewater injection. the wastewater injection is part of the industry. and even sillier are those who try to argue that the data is all fabricated at obama's insistence.
but my favorite form of denial is the people who claim that the quakes have always been happening, and we just didn't have the technology to detect them until recently.
