Welcome to Des Moines. One thing that's different around here is that regular is not the cheapest grade of gas. Midgrade is, due to Iowa state ethanol subsidies. Regular is E0, while mid & super are E10 (there may be exceptions, but I haven't seen any yet). At least two brands don't even sell regular in Iowa, Costco & Murphy USA. Costco only sells mid & premium, while Murphy has Super, Super Plus and Premium Plus (89/91/93 octane).
