Actually, an article in today's Houston Chronicle reported that the 2 pipelines being built (and one reversing direction) are likely to lead to higher prices, not lower. They will provide storage relief in Cushing, thereby removing the current downward pressure on WTI prices, moving them closer to the higher Brent world price.

SHEP20715 I love clean air and fresh water and certianly do not love oil spills. I also grieve for the lost of the eleven lives lost in the BP accident. Just as I grieve for the lost of lives everyday in auto accidents, boating accidents, railroad accidents, airline accidents, industry accidents. And I am not against regulations but the EPA is too powerful and needs to have its power reduced.
