hey i guess anyone can get a lemon but my 233k mile tahoe says that chevy is doing a good job. I know a lot of people who have newer fords and are very happy. They are coming out with 6 new models over the next two years they are either hybrids or high MPG vehicles. All that being said i used to sell Acuras years ago and they are great cars but honda and toyota are not perfect. They have both had vehicles with trany problems the older MDX is one of those.. I am not trying to talk you into anything but American made cars have come a long way in closing the gap. Good Luck with whatever you decide to buy

whiskers wen is the last time you looked at a ford or chevy. i have an 8 year old tahoe with 233k on it. american made cars have come a long way and some of the jap cars are falling back.
