As another prolific poster in Wat/CF- I should explain myself. The past week I've posted everyone's E10/87 price as Regular, and posting a note of "Pure Gas87" with price if the station sells it. Posting the E10 price, even when less-expensive, as a mid grade price was correct in the past when it was a higher minimum octane product (89). Now, only a couple of stations in our area sell a 89 octane product - and it has a higher price than "the cheap stuff on the big sign." The stations still advertising E10/87 as super, plus, or mid are just wrong and need to change their labels. This avoids the problem of comparing Conoco's E10 "regular" to Kwik Star's "Unleaded with Ethanol" to HyVee's E10 "super" when people look for the cheapest gas in the area... That said - I know my opinion may be a minority ... and whatever the case people will continue to post the "cheap stuff" as mid for a while out of habit. What do you think?
