I looked up some of Sherwood Idso's work on Carbon Dioxide and the Environment. I don't agree with him. Plants can absorb lots of CO2, but other countries are chopping down or burning (more CO2) so many forests for farming, we are loosing ground. Carbon dioxide dissolves in water, so the seas and lakes are absorbing a lot of it, but that forms carbonic acid, a week acid, that harms coral, shellfish, fish and other water creatures. One piece of 'good' news, warmer water will evaporate more and more clouds will form which will reflect more light and heat. So it may all balance out eventually. In the meantime, winters are more severe in places and we set new summer heat records. Finally, we need to burn less dirty coal and switch to clean American natural gas. I want a CNG fueled vehicle, not an all-electric for our next one. Live long and prosper.
