Thank you.

I have no argument with the fact that we should use our energy resources more efficiently. But with 300,000,000+ people in America and America's growth rate, we need to develop all of our energy resources, including coal and oil, before we become another Europe, subservient to Russia and China.

It's a nice fantasy, but that will never happen. If for no other reason than the fact that America's population is growing quickly from all the legal and illegal immigration into this country.

Thank you.

Our first snow this year was in September, we had a trace of snow in June which melted as soon as it fell. Snow is guaranteed from October through May every year. It looks like you have a lot more water than we do. Since we're the highest state in the nation, no water flows into the state, only out. Our water source is our snow. the lowest spot in the state is about 3,600 ft. on the border with Kansas. One of the quirks of living in Colorado is that everybody knows the altitude of where they live. What's the general altitude in Maine? I live at 5,600 ft. Have a great day.

I've heard that Maine is gorgeous. My impression is that it looks very much like Colorado. Colorado is mostly mountains and forest with a lot of snow. Is Maine similar?

An excellent response to my article. But I believe you are giving the American public more credit than they deserve. Politics, money and power influence votes, no matter how damaging the resulting policy may be.

I agree. Starting out today with college prices and home prices is a steep hill to climb.

The last thing we need is inflation along with a bad economy and no job growth. We would be right back in a recession without any good way to get out of it.

You are right, both France and Russia are campaigning to remove the dollar as the standard world currency. If that happens America loses a lot of its power and influence.
