"American Oil for and by Americans ONLY" That's not in their plans, and don't ever believe any of the main line politicians that say that either. They full of BS. Hope you had a great Independence Day. Have a great day and week ahead.

Did you congratulate Glenn yet on his new convertible? He got it yesterday.

Sorry to dissapoint, Ed'. But posts from the BBC are found on this site daily. So the answer to your question is: yes. A 'global' economy affects all of us. Even in the Oil Industry. Or - perhaps - especially in the Oil Industry:) Have a good day. ~ drill'.

"Sorry Dems, Exporting any Energy is irresponsible until 101% of OUR energy needs are met first......" You forgot about the Republicans didn't you? It bodes both good and bad, though it's worse for most of us as it will result in higher costs for everything. Anytime the price of oil and gas as well as natural gas or electricity goes up in cost, it drives up the price for food and everything. Better buy some extra of whatever you need now bro. That's for real.

"...same Performance that I have now, and much better milage..." You CAN, but how much do you have to spend? It's not cheap! It's NOT free! I and others CAN do it, but it's not cheap! There might even be someone closer to you than I am that can help. I know people that have pickups that get 35 to 50+ mpg, just like yours or diesels. Hybrids are a different story and can get 150 to 250+. Some hybrids that have been modified partially are getting 70 to 125 mpg already.
