I read your comment today about uncomfortable seat belts. I had the same problem, so put not one, but two sheepskin seatbelt covers on my seat belt. They cover me from neck to waist, and make my drive from Reno to Burbank much more comfortable.

Evidently that's what has happened here. There have been annexations of land that were formerly unincorporated parts of the county. I just looked at a map on the City of El Monte web page, and there are little blips in several places along Lower Azusa Road where the city has take in a single lot. But most of the northern limits of El Monte is in the middle of the street. It's true that the Temple City sign is a few feet north of he corner, but most of that distance is taken up by the driveway into the 7/11. I wouldn't have expected the sign to be in the middle of the driveway. Temple City was incorporated in 1960. My sister lived a block up the street from what is today the 7/11. She lived in the county, not in Temple City, but had a Temple City address because the mail was delivered out of the Temple City post office. I thank you for your gentlemanly comments. I have chosen not to reply to Picman because of his negative attitude and derogatory comments. I drive Baldwin Av

City limits can be very confusing sometimes. Usually they go down the middle of the street. However, my mail address is Tucson, AZ. and I'm ~11 miles outside of the city limits. Another small town came in and annexed about 3 miles along a major street between me and Tucson. They have a 2% city sales tax on top of the AZ. state sales tax. Now they pull over $12 million per year out of that strip. Warren

Well If you really do have a car why don't you actually drive by the intersection and try opening your will see ALL the street signs on that corner are El Monte Signs!! and if you open your eyes really wide you might actually see the entering Temple City sign 150ft North of the corner and on the other side of El Monte Ave you will see the El Monte sign. If you really want to make a fool of yourself why don't you just stop and ask

I just read your comment at picman99's site. If you are posting from a computer, go to the Home page, scroll down to your favorite stations list. Right at the top there is a line of blue type 'edit my fave. stns. list'. Click it and you can delete any station or even add a new stn. On a smart phone, I don't know.

DLA....The 7 Eleven station Lower Azusa and El monte Ave IS located in El Monte Not Temple City.and By the way the Arco Station you posted today @ Sanita Anita and McGirk has been closed for about 5 years...maybe you should actually get in a car and drive by these stations before you post them

Sent with great respect to a Gas Buddy er who has 2,063,505 points :-) I drive in southeast Los Angeles County. Price hikes on January 2nd have not been across the board. Of the stations I watch, three Chevrons went up ten cents per gallon, an Arco went up 8 cents and then dropped 6 cents, and a Sam's Club and two Costco stations did not go up at all. Thanks for being our Gas Buddy!

I used to live in LA LA Land before I moved up here from San Dimas in 2006.

agree with you totally. It's too bad that some people with great wealth feel that spending it on a status symbol is more important than using that money to make a difference in the world by contributing to the research for a cure to a major disease.
