A flying car looks interesting, but we will need a much different way of doing things, so there are not a lot of mid-air collisions and the fuel. Although it would be nice not to have to worry about paying for a carryon.

It sure is nice to dream. Pretty soon; the computers & robots will run the world. Nobody will work anymore, so, how will we be able to buy all these new toys???

Does not interest me whatsoever! If those questionable 'automotive visionaries' where worth ANYTHING they would have already put the 100 mpg into mass production years ago. They would also have delivered to the public the mass production of Natural Gas Vehicles and be well on their way to mass production of the HYDROGEN Alternative Fuel Cell Vehicles. That WOULD be 'visionary'!!!

Science fiction. They make it sound nice, but they gloss over many of the unwelcome consequences, such as the ability of the government to track individual movements. Some of the electroncs will make it to the market, but not at the pace they predict. Human nature desires to control one's enviornment, so it will resist many of the available gadgets.
