He has done nothing for shareholders in the last 10 years.
He should be let go.

Get Alan Mulally in there. He's probably wanting to leave Dearborn and get back to Seattle. And then he can drive a Lexus instead of being chauffeured in a Lincoln.

Normally when a CEO announces he is leaving, the stock sells off. But when Ballmer announced he is leaving today in a year, the stock went up.

Missed the Q by 9 cents. Worst miss ever. Stock down by 11.79%. How the shareholders are not up in arms. Time to fire this bum.

Good old Microsoft.

Came up with PlaysForSure... took it out behind the barn and shot it.

Came up with Windows Mobile... who needs a phone that can bluescreen? Took it out behind the barn and shot it.

Came up with Zune... took it out behind the barn and shot it.

At least selling full versions of Windows is a high point... need it to run Boot Camp on the Macintosh. Too many mission critical vertical market apps where there is no Mac equivalent out there. At least with Boot Camp you get to run the apps on nicely designed hardware instead of clunky commodity hardware that breaks more than a Mac.

Oh what a pleasant thought - - Steve Ballmer unemployed. Nah, that would be too easy on him.

>Stock is 29.81. Doing nothing.

Soft is $26.16 a share. Doing nothing useful.

They make money on Office and Windows only to lose it on other projects. FWIW: Ford is selling a lot of vehicles with "powered by Microsoft" SYNC, working on a "bring your own phone and music, we should get along nicely" basis.

Yes, and if the news Steve Jobs has to go to the doctor the price goes down.

When questioned about his health, one time they displayed a chart with "110/70" on it. Maybe they should switch that to "iLiver 2.0 installed."

Microsoft needs to figure out a way to get rid of the bottomless pit of machines that happily run Windows XP. I was commenting to my dental hygienist that I'd expect the practice to jump straight from Windows XP to Windows 7.

They're phasing out the hard-copy charts. They were partly done with me. They had the crowns charted but not the fillings.

The problem is that Microsoft is too successful at their prime directive to have a computer on every desk and in every home running their software.

They ought to do another one of those $3 dividends before Obama gets the idea to tax the dickens out of dividends.
