Diesel fuel for two sedans.
E85 for one SUV.
Drinks for one thirsty driver.
Snacks or other marginal food for one overweight, overspending, but otherwise lovable character.

generally when i get gas i dont go much further than the pump. most stations in my town are full serve with no quick stop store, and i generally pay cash at those places. the self serve stations all have a quick stop store, but 90% of the time i'm using my card to fill up so i dont go inside. there are the off days that i pay cash at a self serve and grab a gatorade and a resees, and usually a scratch ticket if i can spare a $1.

The only thing I have purchased in a gas station convenience store in the past 10 years has been one newspaper.

Usually nothing. I have run up to the corner station (not buying gas) for an expensive something or other when we were ready to sit down to dinner and realized we were missing something - maybe once every 5 years or so? However, up north we patronized a little grocery/butcher shop with gas pumps. We only bought gas for the small motors up there.

Nothing here either, with the exception if I'm at Costco and had a planned purchase or to pick up meds. In case anyone doesn't know and doesn't have Rx insurance, you don't have to be a member to use their Pharmacies. They were cheaper than any other pharm in town. I digress off the topic. I agree that at most stop and go shops, things are just too high.... so only gas.

nothing else. the price of anything else in the store is so jacked up to compensate the convenience of having a convenience store.
